Choosing Each Other Again
Addictions
Day 21 of 21 · Friday 22 May 2026
Scripture reading
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15, KJV
Teaching lesson
Daily Commitment
Marriage is not only built on the promises made at the altar.
It is built on the choices made after.
The choice to speak kindly. The choice to listen. The choice to forgive. The choice to come home emotionally. The choice to try again. The choice to honour God in the relationship.
After 21 days of reflection, the question is not, “Is our marriage perfect?”
The better question is, “Are we willing to keep choosing each other?”
Every marriage faces seasons. Some seasons feel joyful. Some feel heavy. Some feel confusing. Some require deep healing.
But love grows when commitment remains.
Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
That is a decision.
For a married couple, it may sound like this:
“As for our home, we will keep choosing God.”“We will keep learning.”“We will keep growing.”“We will keep protecting this covenant.”“We will keep choosing each other.”
Your marriage is not just worth remembering. It is worth rebuilding. It is worth covering in prayer. It is worth intentional love.
Today, choose each other again.

- What daily choice do I need to make to strengthen our marriage going forward?
Prayer focus
“Lord, thank You for carrying us through this journey. Help us to choose You, choose love, and choose each other daily. Strengthen our commitment and let our marriage reflect Your grace. Amen.”
